Thank you Herman Miller for your support and confidence in the SLD Center and the services we provide. Through your generous contribution, we were able to provide life long language skills to over 300 individuals in 2010/20122 fiscal year ending June 30, 2011.

Ronald McDonald House Charities

Ronald McDonald House Charities seeks finds and supports programs that directly improve the health and well-being of children." We are a unique organization in that any tax exempt organization can apply as long as funds requested are for children under 18. They have been helping children and providing support to the Grand Rapids and Lansing Ronald McDonald Houses for the last twenty years. Two years ago we added a scholarship program for high school graduating seniors and have awarded twenty needy students with $8,000 each for college expenses.

We have provided dollars to help feed children, paid to refurbish residential treatment homes for teens, funded equipment for neonatal units in hospitals and child abuse centers, paid for educational materials in schools and after school programs, cultural programs, health related items and the list goes on and on.

The more children we can help the better and health related grants are high on our list for giving. If a child isn't healthy nothing else can compare...

We would like to thank the Junior League of Kalamazoo for supporting our Language Links Program.

The Junior League of Kalamazoo (JLK) is an organization of women committed to, promoting voluntarism, developing the potential of women and improving the community through the effective action and leadership of trained volunteers.

Its purpose is exclusively educational and charitable. The Junior League of Kalamazoo reaches out to women of all races, religions and national origins who demonstrate an interest in and commitment to voluntarism.
